Scope of Work

The selected contractor will furnish all labor, products, equipment, and supervision to:

  • Exterior Restoration: Design, fabricate, and construct a new siding and sealing system for the ARSR building. This includes replacing damaged exterior and interior metal wall panels (approximately 750 sq ft), exterior doors, door trim, hinges, and weather stripping. Apply waterproof sealant/caulking, and replace windows with energy-efficient models, installing security sensors and bars. Windows do not require tinting but must meet local energy efficiency standards.
  • Interior Restoration: Replace the water heater, repair/replace bathroom fixtures and walls (addressing water damage), replace kitchen cabinets, countertop, sink, microwave, and refrigerator with energy-efficient models. Clean and epoxy coat the engine room floor (epoxy floors only required in the EG Room). Old appliances are to be disposed of.
  • Abatement: Conduct sampling and abatement for lead-based paint and asbestos-containing materials around doors and frames, as per separate SOWs. Testing around doors and frames will be required before replacement.
  • General: Mechanical/electronic equipment may require temporary disassembly for siding repairs. All work must comply with applicable FAA, Military, Federal, and industrial codes, standards, and specifications.
