Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide a trained, qualified rescue team to be on-site during gate operations, testing, and inspection of emergency, regulating, and radial gates. Team members must hold appropriate certifications to comply with Reclamation Safety and Health Standards (RSHS) for permit-required confined space entry, specifically RSHS Section 1.12 Confined Spaces.

Services will be performed at six facilities, with specific conditions at each:

  • Angostura Reservoir, SD: Canal outlet works, gallery, potential wet areas, stairs.
  • Belle Fourche Reservoir, SD: Canal outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<100 ft).
  • Keyhole Reservoir, WY: Reservoir outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<100 ft).
  • Shadehill Reservoir, SD: Reservoir outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<100 ft).
  • Pactola Reservoir, SD: Reservoir outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<125 ft).
