Quick Summary

Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide a trained, qualified rescue team to be on-site during gate operations, testing, and inspection of emergency, regulating, and radial gates. Team members must hold appropriate certifications to comply with Reclamation Safety and Health Standards (RSHS) for permit-required confined space entry, specifically RSHS Section 1.12 Confined Spaces.
Services will be performed at six facilities, with specific conditions at each:
- Angostura Reservoir, SD: Canal outlet works, gallery, potential wet areas, stairs.
- Belle Fourche Reservoir, SD: Canal outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<100 ft).
- Keyhole Reservoir, WY: Reservoir outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<100 ft).
- Shadehill Reservoir, SD: Reservoir outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<100 ft).
- Pactola Reservoir, SD: Reservoir outlet works, wet areas, potential vertical shaft (<125 ft).
- Deerfield Reservoir, SD: Reservoir outlet works, penstock pipe, 200+ steps, tunnel, potential wet areas, two 10-foot vertical ladder areas.
Each on-site presence is expected to be no more than 8 hours, with gate inspections typically lasting up to 4 hours.
