Support will cover routine operational tasks, patient safety recall investigations, and critical time-limited needs such as COVID-19 pandemic support or operational readiness for Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM)/Cerner deployments. Contractors will provide interim Biomedical Engineering services, either onsite or remotely, to fill staffing gaps. Specific services include technology assessment, site preparation, installation, incoming inspection, hazard remediation, and healthcare consulting. Contractors are responsible for providing their own general test equipment and adhering to OEM specifications.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Multiple-award IDIQ, utilizing hybrid Firm-Fixed Price and/or Labor Hour task orders.
- Period of Performance: A 5-year duration, comprising a base period and four one-year option periods.
- Maximum Aggregate Value: The total ceiling for this IDIQ is $175,000,000.00.
- Minimum Guarantee: A minimum of $2,500.00 will be obligated at award.
- Place of Performance: Nationwide, including Continental United States (CONUS) and Puerto Rico, across all VA medical centers and outpatient clinics.
Eligibility & Set-Aside
This opportunity is exclusively set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. All offerors must be certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) under the Veteran Small Business Certification Program (VetCert).
