Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide ergonomic task assessments and evaluations for San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) employees, including those qualifying for reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The goal is to identify and mitigate potential ergonomic-related injury risks.

• Conduct ergonomic task assessments and evaluations, including workplace observations, surveys, reports, job/task analysis, and employee interviews.

• Identify potential ergonomic-related injury risks.

• Provide month-to-month data and annual reports on evaluations performed.

• Conduct individual employee and workplace task evaluations consistent with VHA and industry standards to assist in workstation redesign or modification.

• Provide concise evaluation reports with ergonomic solutions and equipment recommendations.

• Evaluate facility workstation designs and work practices from an ergonomics perspective for use in design or refurbishment.

• Present reports in a timely, organized manner within 10 business days of evaluation completion.
