- Ensuring specimens are transported in primary and leakproof secondary containers, secured in locked transport bags.

- Operating sanitary vehicles displaying company name/logo and equipped with a biohazard spill kit.
- Employing drivers trained in the safe transport of infectious/diagnostic specimens.
