Scope of Work
The requirement involves providing all personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, and services for thermal spray repair on submarine radar mast tubes. This includes surface finish refurbishment due to wear and corrosion defects on Outer Housing, Radar Mast, and Rotary Tube variants for SSN 774, SSN 21, SSBN 741-743, SSBN 726, SSN 688, and SSN 6881 Class submarines. All repairs must meet SUBSAFE/Level 1 certifications and be performed by NAVSEA certified SUBSAFE entities or under TRFB's SUBSAFE oversight via MoA. Specific thermal spray processes, extensive Nondestructive Testing (NDT), and strict quality assurance procedures are required, referencing multiple NAVSEA documents. Work will be performed at the vendor's CONUS facility.
