• Controlled Boundary Calculations: Provision for calculations of the controlled boundary distance from the source or tube head.
• Review/Approval: Sections for the Contractor's Radiographer and the SRF-JRMC RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) to sign and date, indicating review and approval.

Bidders will need to complete and submit this form as part of their planning and safety documentation if they are awarded a contract involving radiography. It outlines the specific information required to ensure safe and compliant execution of radiography tasks, including details on equipment, personnel, site layout, and radiation safety measures.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for a sole source requirement for Radiographic Inspection of Sonar Dome Rubber Windows (SDRW). The government anticipates awarding a firm, fixed-price contract.

• Perform radiographic inspection of Sonar Dome Rubber Windows (SDRW) while the ship is waterborne.

• Inspections must be accomplished by NAVSEA approved contractors.

• Submit a RADIOGRAPHY OPERATIONS PLANNING WORK SHEET at least 14 working days prior to commencement of work.

• Establish and monitor a physical boundary at the 2 mR/hr radiation level.

• Provide all management, labor, parts, signs, special test equipment, and radios for communication.

• Provide own MARINE CHEMIST SERVICES.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: 04 September 2026 - 14 September 2026.
