This procurement was conducted as Other Than Full and Open Competition under 41 USC §3304(a)(1), identifying Panhandle Nuclear Rx LTD as the sole responsible source. Market research confirmed that Panhandle Nuclear Rx LTD is the only nuclear pharmacy in the Amarillo area capable of manufacturing and delivering the required time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals. A notice of intent to sole source was published, and no other responses were received. The contracting officer determined the anticipated prices to be fair and reasonable.
