Scope of Work

• Demolition and Removal: Demolish and remove existing platforms, rusted metal components, and any hazardous materials, ensuring proper environmental disposal.
• New Construction: Construct new ADA-compliant platforms for three specified buildings, incorporating features such as correct platform height, ramp slope, turning radius, guardrails, and handrail extensions.
• Structural Integrity: Ensure proper drainage, anchoring, and structural stability for all new installations.
• Material Selection: Utilize materials with high corrosion resistance, such as galvanized steel, aluminum, composite decking, or pressure-treated lumber.
• Documentation & Training: Provide as-built drawings, warranty documentation, and train facility representatives on maintenance and cleaning requirements.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Implied Fixed-Price Construction (Invitation for Bids).
• Estimated Value: Between $100,000 and $250,000.
• Period of Performance: Ninety (90) calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Work is expected to commence within 14 days of NTP and be completed within 30 days of NTP.
• Place of Performance: 1342, 1344, and 1346 Spruce Street, Towaoc, Colorado.
• Bonds: Performance and payment bonds are required.
• Wage Rates: Department of Labor Wage Rates apply, and certified payroll documents are mandatory. A General Decision Number (GDN) for building construction in Colorado, effective January 2, 2026, specifies prevailing wage rates.
• Invoicing: Electronic invoicing via the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) is mandatory.

Submission & Evaluation

• Submission Deadline: Offers are due by 10:00 AM MST on February 6, 2026.
• Proposal Acceptance Period: 90 days post solicitation closing date.
• Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made to the qualified contractor with the lowest total evaluated price (Base + All Options).
