Opportunity Details
FGIS has an annual requirement for an estimated 25,000 quantitative mycotoxin tests. The contract aims to procure water-based extraction test kits for one or more of the specified mycotoxins. Each test kit will be evaluated individually.
Scope of Work
Contractors must provide quantitative water-based extraction test kits capable of analyzing:
- Aflatoxin (B1, B2, G1, G2) in corn (5-300 ppb range).
- DON in corn and wheat (0.5-30 ppm range).
- Fumonisin (B1, B2, B3) in corn (0.5-30 ppm range).
- Zearalenone in corn (100-1000 ppb range).
All kits must complete analysis in 30 minutes or less, be simple to use, have a minimum three-month shelf life, and possess an active FGIS Certificate of Conformance (COC) or proof of submission for approval. Non-disposable equipment (readers, incubators, etc.) must be provided at no cost and replaced if non-functioning. Contractors must also offer adequate, no-cost training for FGIS employees and ongoing technical support. Unit prices must include all costs, including shipping, and varying kit counts (e.g., 100 and 50 tests) should be available.

Evaluation & Submission
