This work order details the re-lamping of approximately half of the south hangar at MALS14, MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, with LED lighting.

• Replace sixty-four (64) existing fluorescent high bay lighting fixtures with LED style high bay lighting.

• Coordinate with contracting representatives and MALS14 personnel to ensure aircraft are clear of the work area and fire suppression/alarm systems are managed.

• Implement lock-out/tag-out procedures for overhead crane circuits and all affected electrical lighting circuits.

• Work must be conducted to cause minimal interference with normal hangar operations.

• Contractor personnel must comply with all Activity regulations, including safety, fire, traffic, and security.

• Obtain access to MCAS Cherry Point through the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS).

• Personnel must wear hard hats in designated areas and not enter restricted areas without clearance.

• Provide a list of contractor and subcontractor contact personnel.

• Minimum insurance coverage as required by FAR 28.307-2 Liability.

• Project requires one person to fill roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Site Safety and Health Officer.

• Submittals required for approval by the COR prior to commencement of work.

• Planned outages and service disruptions require written request 15 days in advance and a contingency plan.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including hearing protection, safety glasses, hard hats, long pants, safety shoes, and reflective vests.

• Comply with EM 385-1-1, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 241, APP, AHA, and Federal/State OSHA regulations.

• Submit Spare Parts Data list, Warranty Management Plan, and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.

• Work must be performed in an occupied building; do not enter without prior COR approval.

• Existing buildings and contents must be kept secure; provide temporary closures as needed.

• Relocate movable furniture approximately 6 feet away from the working area.

• Utility cutovers and interruptions must occur after normal working hours or on weekends/holidays, with 15 days' notice.

• Contractor must not operate or disturb control devices in station utilities.

• No employee or representative will be admitted to the work site without an Identification Badge or specific authorization.

• Obtain clearance and flightline security badges for all personnel.

• Contractor staging area to be coordinated, with material kept to a minimum and not disrupting activities.
