Scope of Work
The contractor shall perform the following services for two NORIT Supra 0.8 active carbon filter systems in Building 113, Base Water Plant 1:
- Extract 50 cubic meters of soiled carbon filter material.
- Transport soiled material for reactivation (heating and burning).
- Replenish any material loss with 25% new, equivalent carbon filter material.
- Transport reactivated material back to Water Plant 1.
- Dispose of collected wastewater.
- Pump reactivated carbon filter material back into the tanks.
- Provide a material and reactivation analysis certificate.
Work must comply with Final Governing Standards - Germany (FGS-G), German Trinkwasserverordnung (TWO), and DIN standards. Final acceptance is contingent upon USAF Bio Environmental Office water quality analysis.
