THIS DESIGN BUILD PROJECT IS POSTED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THE CURRENT DHS/USCG NATIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT III (NMACC III), POOL 1.

Base Item 0001: The contractor shall provide all the supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and other services for the design/build to Restore Runway 1-19 (RPUID 24082) to operational conditions as a crosswind, alternate runway for the design mix aircraft at its present dimension of 4,518-feet in length and 150-feet in width; also, to include Taxiway Kilo and Taxiway Golf. The contractor shall also provide and install operational LED edge lighting, guidance signs, lighting system components supporting taxiways for Runway 1-19 and various taxiways. All lighting shall comply with FAA standards (FAA AC 150/5340-30).
Option Item 0001: RW 1-19 North Turnaround: Provide all services and materials necessary for the site demolition and disposal to construct a RW 1-19 North Turnaround Pad. The RW 1-19 turn-around pad shall be compatible for the largest operating aircraft, the H-C 130 Construction shall be in accordance with the requirements of UFC 03-260-01 for Army and Air Force facilities based upon the HC-130 aircraft. Demolition shall include the removal of the existing PCC pavement section to natural subgrade. New construction shall include the demolition of existing pavements and tie-into exiting airfield taxiways and runways. New work shall include all required airfield lights (i.e. edge lights), navigation aids, to include feeders and duct banks, and includes all pavement striping/markings.
