• Critical Items: The items are designated as Critical Application Items (CAI) and Critical Safety Items (CSI), incorporating DFARS clause 252.209-7010.
• IUID Exemption: The Item Unique Identification and Valuation (IUID) clause (DFARS 252.211-7003) is deleted for these non-CLSSA Foreign Military Sales (FMS) spares. This is because the affected parts are wholly owned by FMS customer countries, are not covered by a Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement (CLSSA), and will not enter the DoD supply chain.
