RECERTIFICATION FOR 87' WPB LIFT RIG

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide services for the recertification of one (1) docking cradle for the 87 Ft Coastal Patrol Boat (WPB).

• Conduct all necessary inspections to certify one docking cradle constructed per referenced drawings.

• Certification must meet requirements outlined in SFLC Standard Specification 8634.

• The Certifying Authority will define weld inspection types and lengths.

• Re-load testing is not required as the cradle has been previously load tested.

• Location: USCG Yard, Baltimore MD 21226.

• Period: As soon as possible, for a 10-day period or more.

• A Certification Report including:

  • Appendix B-2 (SFLC STD Spec 8634), signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer (State of Maryland).
  • Appendix B-23 and Appendix B-24 (SFLC STD Spec 8634), completed.
  • Inspection Overview.
  • Inspection Findings with supporting documentation.
  • Surveyor’s Endorsement ("SATISFACTORY" or "UNSATISFACTORY"), noting any contingencies.

• Compliance with United States Coast Guard Drawing No. 87WPB 085-12, Rev A.

• Compliance with Surface Forces Logistics Center Standard Specification 8634 (SFLC Std Spec 8634) - 2022 Drydocking.

• Access to previous certification reports, docking history, last NDI Report, and last completed load test will be available post-award upon request.
