  • Developing and submitting a conceptual blasting plan for approval at least 30 days prior to bringing explosives on-site.
  • Maintaining and providing detailed blast records.
  • Executing blasting operations from the highest elevation down, ensuring stable high walls and managing flyrock.
  • All workers must possess Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Certification (Form 5000-23).
  • The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary Federal, State, and Local permits.
