Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the rough machining of:
- 2 ea. RDSX-102-001 FRONT APERTURE.STEP
- 2 ea. RDSX-154 REAR APERTURE.STEP
Key requirements include:
- Completion of work within 35 business days from the date of award.
- Adherence to geometric dimensions and tolerances specified in drawings.
- Utilizing customer-supplied 17-4 PH stainless steel alloy in the H1150 heat treat condition.
- Performing stress relief heat treat per SAE AMS2759/11.
- Achieving a smallest roughness of 125uin/3.2um Ra.
- Bag and Tag parts upon completion.
- Conducting a Formal Inspection with a Dimensional Report.
- Providing Certificates and Supplier Qualifications, including ITAR/EAR Registration, Finishing Certification, and Certificate of Conformance.
- Print exceptions note that machining to .125" before stress relief, no passivation, and customer-performed lapping are required. EDM work and finishing less windows at .125" stock will be performed by the customer.
