Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to replace vacuum interrupters on one Eaton / Cutler Hammer 150VCP-W50C circuit breaker (serial number 03084859). The work includes:
- Replacing all three vacuum pole assemblies with new assemblies (brand name or equal) meeting IEEE/ANSI C37.04 and C37.06 standards.
- Factory calibrating the circuit breaker after pole assembly replacement.
- Testing the circuit breaker to meet manufacturer's specifications, including insulation resistance, contact resistance, timing, and over-potential tests.
- Providing a report with test results and certification of compliance.
Refurbishment must adhere to the original manufacturer’s instructions (I.B. 32-255-1G), drawings, or ANSI/PEARL electrical equipment reconditioning standards. Acceptable performance will be verified with testing performed in accordance with NETA Maintenance Testing Specifications (MTS). The refurbished breaker must meet Eaton's performance specifications and be suitable for safe operation, with a 12-month warranty.

Interested parties must provide a capability statement demonstrating their ability to fulfill ALL requirements identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). If unable to meet all requirements, this must be clearly identified. The circuit breaker is located at Lookout Point Dam, Lowell, OR. The contractor is responsible for arranging transport of the breaker to their facility and its return (F.O.B.), including all shipping costs. All parts and repairs must be compatible with the Eaton type VCP-W50C circuit breaker and meet or exceed nameplate ratings (17,500V, 1200A, 50kA rms). Compliance with NETA MTS, ANSI/IEEE C37.04, C37.06, C37.09, and Eaton's I.B. 32-255-1G is required.
