Scope of Work
The scope encompasses design services and related work for structures and components of USFS transportation systems, and infrastructure on USFS recreation and administrative sites. Key services include:
- Design and inspection for bridges (road, trail, aquatic organism passage, culverts, arches, retaining walls), and structures made of timber, steel, concrete, masonry, and earthen fill.
- Design services for snow sheds, shelters, campgrounds, water distribution, stormwater, and wastewater systems.
- Minor facility maintenance or repairs for USFS offices and buildings (excluding major construction or reconstruction).
- Activities such as new construction, condition inspection, decommissioning, rehabilitation, retrofit, repair, or maintenance.
- Subsidiary services including surveying, geotechnical, hydraulic engineering, and minor mechanical/electrical design.

- Capacity to accomplish work in the required time and geographic area.
