Scope of Work
The contractor will furnish qualified Registered Pharmacists to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care at the Red Lake Hospital (RLH), supporting outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Department operations. Services include:
- Medication order review, verification, and clinical assessment.
- Dispensing, preparation, labeling, and verification of medications.
- Patient counseling and medication education.
- Drug information support, medication use evaluations, and Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting.
- Documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and inventory/controlled substance accountability. Personnel must be proficient in IHS/RPMS EHR, ScriptPro, Innovation NEXIA, and Omnicell automated dispensing systems. Pharmacists require an ACPE-accredited degree, valid unrestricted license, BLS certification (ACLS preferred), and culturally competent care skills.

Additional Notes
Contractor personnel will require background investigations and must comply with IHS/HHS immunization requirements. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required due to the handling of Protected Health Information (PHI). The Government will provide workspace, equipment, system access, and PPE.
