Scope of Work

The contractor will furnish qualified Registered Pharmacists to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care at the Red Lake Hospital (RLH), supporting outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Department operations. Services include:

  • Medication order review, verification, and clinical assessment.
  • Dispensing, preparation, labeling, and verification of medications.
  • Patient counseling and medication education.
  • Drug information support, medication use evaluations, and Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting.
  • Documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and inventory/controlled substance accountability. Personnel must be proficient in IHS/RPMS EHR, ScriptPro, Innovation NEXIA, and Omnicell automated dispensing systems. Pharmacists require an ACPE-accredited degree, valid unrestricted license, BLS certification (ACLS preferred), and culturally competent care skills.
