The Relay Ground Station South (RGS-S) site is located at Shriever Space Force Base outside of Colorado Springs, CO. The site is situated inside the restricted area. The purpose of the project is to provide the Space Force with the facilities and infrastructure (FI) needed to support RGS-S. The project will be executed using a Design-Build (DB) project delivery method, which will require the contractor to provide the Government with a complete design that will provide construction of a complete and usable facility to include warranty based on the Request for Proposal (RFP). Facilities and infrastructure will be designed, procured, installed, and commissioned by the Contractor. The facilities and infrastructure will primarily consist of concrete pads, antenna pedestal foundations, radome ringwalls, site utilities, backup generators, fuel tanks, pathways and cabling, and shelters.
