Scope of Work
The contractor will remanufacture both Miter Gate Actuators simultaneously to their new and improved design. Key tasks include:
- Disassembly, electrical testing, and inspection of components for wear and damage.
- Steam cleaning, bake-out, and sandblasting of required components.
- Reassembly with new bearings, final electrical testing, and painting.
- Providing and installing valve kits, approximately 60 gallons of food-grade hydraulic oil.
- Re-honing cylinders, furnishing new pistons and glands with updated seal designs, and providing complete seal kits for cylinders and hydraulic power units.
- Sandblasting and repainting actuators using Macropoxy 646 and Acrolon 218 HS topcoat in the original factory color.
- Repair and re-chroming of thrust rods, replacement of two bronze bushings per cylinder trunnion, and furnishing stainless-steel tubing, fittings, and hardware.
- Furnishing and installing a quick-disconnect manifold, reservoir end plate, two pressure tubes, two suction strainers, a P3AAN3040 bi-rotational hydraulic gear pump, and pump-to-motor couplings and spider assemblies.
This contract specifically excludes modifications or improvements to the Cardanic Ring.
