Scope of Work
The contractor will conduct Remedial Actions (RA) to address lead- and total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH)-contaminated soils. Key tasks include:
- Work Plan Development: Prepare and submit a draft and final Remediation and Restoration Work Plan, detailing the technical approach, schedule, remediation methods, disposal procedures, and site restoration activities. This plan must incorporate a Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) and a Risk Management Plan.
- Contaminated Soil Remediation: Perform specific remediation actions at each site, including excavation and removal of soils exceeding FAA action levels or EPA/State regulatory limits for TPH and lead.
- Disposal: Manage disposal sampling and identify all disposal facilities. The government will perform all confirmatory sampling.
- Site Restoration: Restore disturbed areas to original grade using certified clean material.
- Site Close-out: Provide documentation including a close-out email and copies of waste manifests.
