Remote Video Game Kits

Sources Sought / Market Research

This document is a Sources Sought Synopsis published by the United States Air Force (USAF) to conduct market research for "Remote Video Game Kits." The USAF is seeking to determine if businesses are capable of providing an alternative product that meets specific characteristics. This is not a solicitation, and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.

• Procurement of video game kits for remote and isolated locations.

• 1 box kit per month for 20 locations.

• Each kit must contain 6 new released or high-demand video games.

• All 20 locations will receive the same 6 games each month.

• Games must be available for Xbox & 1, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch.

• Kits must be shipped to remote and isolated locations.

• Total of 1,440 video games per year (20 kits x 6 games x 12 shipments).

• No duplication of titles from previous months.

• Vendors must provide a pre-release list for upcoming months.

• Vendors must provide a suggested monthly order list to DAF libraries.

• Vendors must provide a commercially available website with an existing multi-tier web-based purchasing system for review and selection.

• Vendors must provide unique logins for DAF Libraries to select items, build carts, and submit selections.

• Items received in error or in unacceptable condition must be replaced at no additional cost.

• Firm-Fixed Price Orders with shipping costs included.

• Shipping via U.S. Postal Service First Class and Priority Mail or similar to APO addresses (New York, NY or San Francisco, CA).

• Kits must be packaged and labeled separately for each location.

• Vendors must dedicate a customer service representative.

• DAF Libraries must be able to test the website; a username and password must be provided.

• Projected Period of Performance: Base year (30 September 2026 – 29 September 2027) with three one-year option periods (through 29 September 2030).

• Information received will be considered for determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement or a small business set-aside.

• The Government will not pay for any information received.

• Responses will help determine if a small business set-aside is appropriate.

• If a Small Business Set-Aside is implemented, FAR 52.219-14, Limitation on Subcontracting, will apply.

• Contractors must identify their business size (large U.S., small U.S., foreign) and socioeconomic status.

• Submitted information must be UNCLASSIFIED.

• Responses are strictly voluntary.

• This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposals.

• Offerors are encouraged to suggest products other than those specifically referenced by brand name, addressing how alternate products meet characteristics.

• Contractors must include points of contact, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, CAGE Code or UEI, and a Capabilities Statement.
