The U.S Embassy Tbilisi would like to renovate the domestic hot/cold water/sewer systems at the Residence by replacing the existing old pipes. This renovation aims to enhance the functionality, safety, and energy efficiency of the residence.
Work is to be performed at Tbilisi, Georgia, 26 Nikoloz Beradze str. Dighomi 9, Tbilisi, Georgia. The contract type is firm-fixed price.
B. SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall perform the work per details specified herein.
• The Embassy will host a pre-bid meetings and all interested parties must attend.
• The existing pipes will be renovated in accordance with technical requirements. The
contractor is responsible for providing renovation services according Design, Specification and
Explanatory Notes.
• Provide renovation sequences planning (staging plan) to meet the requirements indicated in
the Scope of Work and Design Project (should be done by contractor).
• Provide sufficient technical information (e.g. materials, shop drawings for temporary waiting
area and construction, etc.) for approval prior to renovation.
• Provide a complete set of as-built drawings of the project after completion.
Specific scope of works:
Project completion date estimate 30 calendar days.
Sanitary Facilities and Utility Areas (APPENDIX #2 with photo examples):
• Basement Level - 1 bathroom, laundry room, boiler room.
• Ground Floor: 2 bathrooms, kitchen with 2 connection points.
• Second Floor: 3 bathrooms and bar area.
• Third Floor: 1 bathroom.
1. Preparation Works:
• Development and approval of the working project.
• Arrangement of temporary water supply in the basement.

2. Dismantling Works:
• Removal of existing screed in bathrooms.
• Dismantling of old cold and hot water supply pipelines, as well as sewer
lines (in agreed areas).
• Disposal of construction waste and dismantled pipes.
3. Preparation of Routes for New Utilities:
• Wall chasing and floor cutting for pipe routing.
• Drilling of holes for pipe passage through slabs and walls.
• Creation of openings and embeds in the basement for main pipelines (core
drilling).
4. Installation of New Utilities:
• Installation of cold water, hot water, and hot water recirculation mains
(risers and floor distribution).
• Installation of sewer pipes on floors (excluding basement).
• Installation of regulating valves (if required).
• Installation of shut-off valves for independent isolation of each bathroom
and water supply branch (valves visible to users must be provided with decorative
covers).
• All sanitary fixture connection nodes must be fixed properly.
• Installation of pipe thermal insulation (in basement and shafts).
• Sealing of penetrations through walls and slabs.
5. Testing and Commissioning:
• Hydraulic pressure testing of cold and hot water supply systems.
• Testing of sewer system for tightness and correct slope.
