Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide a rental solution for furnishings and associated equipment to support a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) ceremony, ensuring all items are delivered, installed, and removed according to the schedule and specified requirements.

• Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision for the delivery, installation, and removal of furnishings and equipment.
• The event will host up to 150 guests.

For Bill Battle Coliseum:

• One (1) stage (min. 24' W x 16' D x 24" H) with stairs and skirting.
• One (1) podium with wireless microphone.
• Two (2) powered speakers with stands.
• One hundred fifty (150) guest chairs.
• Ten (10) stage chairs.
• Two (02) quiet, unobtrusive fans for climate control.
• Two (02) 6' tables with white cloth covers for the entryway.

For Hulsey Hall (Admissions Welcome Center):

• Twenty-five (25) highboy tables with white cloth covers.

• One (1) podium with wireless microphone.

• One (1) powered speaker with stand.

• Two (02) quiet, unobtrusive fans for climate control.

• Setup: Complete by June 3, 2026, 1200 Central Time Zone (CT).

• Teardown & Removal: Complete by June 6, 2026, 1200 CT.

• Availability: Furnishings and equipment must be available for use 24/7 during this period.

• Location: U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Birmingham Southern, 900 Arkadelphia Road, Birmingham, AL 35254.

• All equipment must be installed safely and stably.

• Pre- and post-event inspections will be conducted by the Government Technical Representative.

• Acceptance of work determined by the Designated Government Technical Representative.

• Contractor personnel must present a valid Real ID for base access.

• Contractor must coordinate access and installation with the USCG POC: Ms. Liz Medina.

• Provide a detailed equipment inventory and floor plan for approval no later than 10 business days prior to setup.

• Provide certificates of insurance prior to commencement of work.

• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

• Provide a Project Manager as a single point of contact.

• Contractor employees must wear identification badges and comply with all Government escort rules.
