Scope of Work
This contract covers the repair and modernization of YC (Yard Craft), UF (Utility Float), and UFDD (Utility Float Deep Draft) Barges homeported in Bremerton, Everett, Keyport, Indian Island, Manchester Fuel Depot, and NSB Bangor (Silverdale), Washington. Vessel Characteristics:
- YC: Notional Length 115 ft, Width 32 ft, Draft 3 ft, Light Load 160 Long Tons.
- UF: Notional Length 60 ft, Width 15 ft, Draft 3 ft, Light Load 25 Long Tons.
- UFDD: Notional Length 60 ft, Width 15 ft, Draft 22 ft, Light Load 45 Long Tons. Design Types: Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical Design, from Basic Commercial Off-the-Shelf to Militarized Special Designs. Typical projects include: Vessel husbandry, project management, welding, pipefitting, shipfitting, abrasive grit blasting, painting, sheet metal work, electrical repairs/alterations/modernization, pump/motor and mechanical systems repair, tank cleaning, rigging, and temporary scaffolding removal/installation. Contractors are responsible for all labor, management, materials, and equipment for delivery orders.
