Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To repair USCG aircraft components that are subject to corrosion due to operation in a saltwater environment, ensuring they are returned in an airworthy condition suitable for installation on MH-60T aircraft.

• Repair of specified components, including APN-209/T (quantity 4).

• Perform test and evaluation (TTE) to determine component condition. A firm-fixed price TTE fee will apply if the component is Ready for Issue (RFI).

• For components determined Beyond Economical Repair (BER), a firm-fixed BER/Scrap fee will apply. Disposition instructions for BER components will be provided via modification.

• Repair non-RFI components to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) functional performance specifications.

• Inspect and correct all deficiencies, including replacement of missing or broken parts and removal of corrosion.

• Disassemble components as necessary to remove corrosion or replace affected parts.

• Corroded parts are to be replaced, unless removal does not impair efficiency or safe operation. Corrosion removal and treatment must comply with OEM specifications and FAA Advisory Circular AC 43-4B.

• Work to be performed at the Contractor's facility or a USCG-approved facility.

• Components must be repaired and returned in an airworthy condition.

• Repair services must be performed in accordance with OEM specifications and procedures outlined in the SOW.

• Contractor must maintain a quality system compliant with ISO 9001-2000 or equivalent.

• Components must be cleaned IAW applicable CMMs and be free of hazards.

• Repaired parts must be airworthy and suitable for installation on USCG aircraft.

• Each returned component must be tagged with a DD Form 1574 or FAA Form 8130-3.

• A Certificate of Airworthiness and a Certificate of Conformance (COC) are required.

• Work to be performed at the Contractor's facility or USCG-approved facility.

• Test and Evaluation: Due no later than fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of components.

• Repair APN-209/T: Due no later than 90 days after induction.

• Contractor must have access to required repair specifications and test/acceptance criteria.

• Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary specifications.

• OEM certification for repair is required.

• Immediate notification to the Contracting Officer is required upon loss of any certification.

• Certifications/documentation must be attached to the outside of the shipping container.

• Serial number tracking is required for all components.

• A Significant Component History Record (SCHR) will be provided with tracked components.

• A Component Repair Record (CRR) must be provided with repaired components.

• Failure data reports are required for each repaired component.

• Components found to be non-RFI upon installation may be returned to the Contractor.

• Quarterly audits will be conducted by ALC on Government Furnished Property.
