The contractor shall procure and provide two new cooling tower fan motors, including associated hardware kits for motor connection at Tower #1 & 3. This also includes replacing motor wiring for Tower #1 and its motor cooling fan. Comprehensive repairs and maintenance tasks include:

  • Performing miscellaneous repairs and a pre-work site visit to verify conditions.
  • Removing and replacing fan guards and blades on Tower 1 & 3.
  • Aligning shaft and motor connections, providing necessary hardware.
  • Installing a new motor cooling fan for Tower #1 and reinstalling fan guards.
  • Providing electrical and control connections to new motors.
  • Cleaning spray nozzles on all three towers.
  • Repairing leaks at sump basin sensors, connection points, and on Tower #2.
  • Repairing damaged drift eliminator mounting rails and re-installing media panels.
  • Repairing leaks on the 4” sump drain piping and checking/topping up transmission fluid.
  • Providing start-up testing for new equipment and a minimum 1-year warranty on labor and materials.
  • Cleaning up and disposing of all removed equipment and project waste off-Base.
