Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To complete patchwork, repairs, and painting of external concrete walls, soffits, and pillars of the multi-purpose building at United States Coast Guard Station Grand Isle.

• Power wash concrete surfaces to be repaired and painted (white).

• Inspect and identify surfaces for defects, soft/failing concrete, and areas requiring patchwork.

• Treat exposed rebar to prevent corrosion.

• Complete necessary repairs and patchwork, allowing adequate cure time.

• Prime and paint all white concrete surfaces with appropriate paint matching the existing color.

• Monitor weather forecasts and humidity levels to determine appropriate painting and curing times, in accordance with manufacturer instructions. These times must be provided to and reviewed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to start.

• Protect all equipment and merchandise in work locations.

• All work must be approved by the COR.

• Location: United States Coast Guard Station Grand Isle, 453 Admiral Craik Dr, Grand Isle, LA 70358.

• Required delivery: 60 days after award.

• Work is to minimize interference with normal facility operations (8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays), unless otherwise instructed or permitted by the COR.

The Coast Guard reserves the right to bar individuals violating safety standards.

• Inspection: The COR has the right to reject defective workmanship or materials. Only the COR or representative may accept work.

• Operations & Storage: Contractor is responsible for protecting their materials. The Coast Guard is not responsible for receipt, storage, or protection of contractor materials. All shipments must be addressed to the contractor.

• Contractor Identification: Personnel must wear company identification at all times.

• Utilities: Contractor must field verify all utility locations before commencing work and is responsible for repairing any damaged utilities at their own expense.

• Onboard Regulations: Adhere to specific regulations for Station Grand Isle, including daily colors, maintaining a clean work site, prohibition of firearms, restrictions on foreign nationals, advance notice for utility outages, providing personnel lists, taking precautions during severe weather, and understanding that only the COR can alter contract terms. Contractor vehicles and equipment are subject to search. Lay down areas must minimize footprint and not obstruct the boat ramp or government vehicles.

• Option Item: Prep and paint 5 metal entry doors around the base of the building.
