Scope of Work
Key requirements for this project include:
- Pool Basin Repair & Liner Installation: Preparing and repairing the fiberglass pool basin, sealing cracks, modifying the coping, and installing a 60-mil PVC liner across the entire basin. The liner must be fully adhered, heat-welded, and include a minimum 15-year warranty.
- System Upgrades: Replacing the existing undersized skimmer assembly and associated piping with a new, larger skimmer system. Installing two new side jet nozzles and one new vertical central spray nozzle, while abandoning existing supply nozzles. Improving deck drainage by demolishing and replacing the channel drain along the west edge of the enclosure with a new, extended 5-inch wide channel drain.
- Entry Gate: Replacing the entry gate to the kiddie pool enclosure, including new latching post, hinges, and latches. The contractor is responsible for all design work, including site investigations and preparing contract documents, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards (UFCs, ETLs, local), and Columbus AFB Installation Facility Standards.
