This acquisition is to obtain a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract for the purpose of repairing the T-38C Ejection Seat Components in support of the T-38 aircraft. The item to be repaired is the following: Noun: Automatic Deployment Unit; NSN 1680-99-695-3410MH; Part number: MBEU201010 and Noun: Powered Inertia Reel Device; NSN
1680-99-958-2695MH; Part number: MBEU200425-1. The period of performance shall consist of a basic one-year period after contract award plus 4 Option periods. The total best estimated quantity is 180 ea every year for a total period of 5 years.
The Government intends to award this effort to Martin Baker America, CAGE: 1Q842, 169 Jari Dr. Johnstown PA, 15904-6945, UNITED STATES. This award will be made as a sole source award since proprietary data rights exist and the government doesn’t have data rights for this particular item.
