Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for the repair of Radar Radomes for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) MH-60T aircraft.

• The contractor will receive Government Furnished Property (GFP) Radar Radomes for repair.

• A test and evaluation will be performed on each component upon receipt to determine its condition.

• Components found to be No Fault Found (NFF) will be returned to the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) as-is, marked ready for issue (RFI).

• Components found to be Beyond Economical Repair (BER) will require disposition instructions from the Contracting Officer.

• Non-RFI components will be repaired to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) functional performance specifications.

• Repair includes inspection, correction of deficiencies, replacement of parts, and removal of foreign matter or corrosion.

• Corrosion treatment will be performed in accordance with OEM specifications and FAA Advisory Circular AC 43-4B.

• The contractor must provide a failure data report for each repaired component.

• All repairs must be performed at the contractor's facility or a USCG-approved facility.

• Components must be repaired to OEM functional performance specifications.

• Components must be cleaned to be free of hazardous dust, including hexavalent chromium, cadmium, and lead.

• Components must be airworthy and suitable for installation on USCG aircraft.

• Components must be tagged with a DD Form 1574 Serviceable Condition Code Tag or FAA Form 8130-3, Airworthiness Approval Tag.

• A Certificate of Airworthiness and Certificate of Conformance (COC) are required.

• Work will be performed at the contractor's facility or a USCG-approved facility.

• Delivery timelines are specified: Test and Evaluation within 15 calendar days of receipt; Repair within 30 to 60 days after induction.

• Contractor may be required to be certified and maintain an ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System.

• Serial number tracking is required for all components.

• A Component Repair Record (CRR) must be provided with repaired components.
