• Furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, and materials necessary for the replacement of AHUs 2, 5, and 7.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for demolishing and replacing three rooftop Air Handling Units (AHUs) at Sablich Center, B701, Keesler AFB, MS. The work must be performed in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

• Demolish and replace three existing AHUs (identified as 2, 5, and 7) in kind.

• Demolition includes removing old breakers, disconnect switches, and wiring. Only one AHU can be demolished at a time.

• Replace every 6" branch take-off with a new 8" branch take-off with a volume control damper and 8" flexible duct.

• Install new breakers, disconnect switches, and wiring for each new AHU.

• Repair roof curbs and roofs after installation to eliminate thermal, moisture, and weather intrusion.

• Anchor new AHUs and curbs according to UFC hurricane criteria.

• Test, Adjust, and Balance (TAB) the completed system to ensure positive pressure.

• Location: Sablich Center, B701, Keesler AFB, MS.

• Performance will begin 10 days after award and end 210 calendar days later.

• Normal operations of the facility will continue during the contract period.

• All work must comply with local, state, and federal codes (IBC, UFC, AFI, NFPA, NEC, ABA).

• Demolished materials must be removed from the site and disposed of off-site in a legal landfill; no on-site stockpiling.

• Contractor is responsible for repairing or replacing any items damaged during construction.

• Maintain constant daily cleaning of the work area and protect existing elements from dust and debris.

• Disconnect and secure ceiling grid devices (strobes, alarms, routers) to the structure above; reinstall after ceiling system is in place.

• Do not demolish any AHU without an immediate replacement onsite.

• Hazardous materials are not anticipated, but if encountered, work must stop immediately, and the CO contacted.

• Contractor must obtain all required permits, including DIG PERMIT, BURN PERMIT, and CONFINED ENTRY PERMIT.

• Comply with all safety, security, traffic, and fire regulations, including OSHA requirements and specific standards like NFPA 241 and UFC 3-600-01.

• Environmental protection measures, including storm water management and waste disposal, must be followed.

• Asbestos abatement and lead-based paint management procedures must be followed if applicable.
