Scope of Work
This project involves the replacement of two existing rooftop HVAC units (RTU-1 and RTU-2) and associated natural gas piping in Building 194. Key requirements include:
- Demolition of existing rooftop units, roof curbs, associated ductwork, control wiring, and devices.
- Installation of new, like-for-like rooftop HVAC units and associated natural gas piping, including pressure regulators and gas trains.
- Provision of new roof curbs (with extenders as needed), duct transitions, and insulation.
- Temporary conditioning of Building 194 to maintain temperatures during HVAC outages.
- Testing and balancing of air distribution systems and HVAC equipment.
- Modification of the existing fire alarm system to accommodate new units and installation of new smoke detectors.
- Electrical work, including demolition and new wiring, luminaires, switches, outlets, and apparatus.
