Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for replacing two existing 500-gallon above-ground steel industrial fuel tanks and associated piping at the Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp. The existing tanks, installed in 1993, are experiencing corrosion and pose a potential hazard to a nearby lake.

• Removal of two existing 500-gallon above-ground steel industrial fuel tanks and all associated piping.

• Installation of one new Double-Walled 500-gallon Fuel Storage Tank (UL2085 – Fireguard – Above-Ground Fuel Storage Tank or approved equal).

• Installation of associated tank accessories including vents, level gauges, alarm, tank monitoring, spill box with fill, and anti-siphon valves.

• Installation of approximately 30 linear feet of coated steel pipe and associated fittings for operational use.

• Installation of a static grounding system per AFMAN 32-1065.

• Proper disposal of all removed items off the premises, with emphasis on recycling and diversion of construction waste.

• Work must be performed in a workmanlike manner, adhering to prevailing industry standards and manufacturer's instructions.
