Scope of Work
The contractor shall:
- Remove two (2) existing 500-gallon above-ground steel industrial fuel tanks and all associated piping. The existing tanks, installed in 1993, are experiencing corrosion and pose a potential hazard to a nearby lake.
- Install one (1) new Double-Walled 500-gallon Fuel Storage Tank (UL2085 – Fireguard – Above-Ground or approved equal).
- Install associated tank accessories including vents, level gauges, alarm, tank monitoring, spill box with fill, and anti-siphon valves.
- Install approximately 30 linear feet of coated steel pipe and associated fittings for operational use.
- Install a static grounding system per AFMAN 32-1065.
- Properly dispose of all removed items off the premises, with emphasis on recycling and diversion of construction waste. Visual context for the site and existing infrastructure is provided in the "Fuel Tank Images" and "Fuel Tank Location Plan" documents.
