Scope of Work

- Remove and replace approximately 65 feet of 2.5-inch 80 Schedule PVC piping from the valve to the potable water hookups.
- Reduce piping to 2.0 inches to run underneath a tramway.
- Install two sections of 1.5-inch 80 Schedule PVC piping that tee off from the 2-inch piping.
- Create two potable water hookups with bleed and cut-off valves, featuring 1.5-inch NH thread adapters.
- Coordinate with the city water company for water shutoff and turn-on, ensuring minimal disruption (not longer than a workday).
Performance Requirements
- Installation must be performed by a Mississippi-certified contractor.
- Work must comply with the most current editions of the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC).
- Contractor is responsible for work site safety, waste disposal, and compliance with all Coast Guard regulations for work on an operational military installation.
- The total contract performance period is 120 calendar days, with work to commence within 14 calendar days of award.
