• Site Access & Work Hours: Work generally performed during normal business hours (Ponderosa Dorm: 6 AM-6 PM Mon-Thu; Bryce Canyon Lodge: 9 AM-4 PM Mon-Thu). Work outside these hours requires prior CO/COR approval.

• Site Conditions: Contractor must comply with National Park Service rules and regulations. No signs or advertisements without approval. Smoking is prohibited within Federal buildings or within 25 feet of entrances. Operations must minimize inconvenience to the public.

• Site Disturbance: Limit disturbance to specific zones around buildings, walkways, parking, and utility areas.

• Utilities: Existing water and electric power are available for use without charge. Temporary facilities costs are included in the Contract Sum. Toilets are available.

• Environmental Protection: Comply with state and federal environmental regulations. Minimize contamination. Cleaning of equipment is required before moving onto the Project Area.

• Housekeeping: Keep project neat, orderly, and safe. Dispose of waste and recycling legally outside the park. Address recycling goals.

• Fire and Life Safety: Comply with NFPA requirements. Store and handle hazardous materials per OSHA standards. Maintain MSDS/Safety Data Sheets on site. Have a spill emergency response kit and trained employees.

• Noise Control: Only as needed during daylight hours.

• Submittals: Prepare and submit submittals for approved equipment via electronic email to COR. Product/material specifications are required with the quote. Forward submittals to COR at least 15 days before need for approval.

• Approved Equals: "Brand name or equal" items must meet or exceed specified characteristics. Supporting data must be submitted.

• Project Closeout: Remove all tools, materials, and rubbish. Request final inspection. A one-year warranty on labor and workmanship is required.

• Special Conditions: Section off work site with physical barriers. Have an OSHA class A fire extinguisher on site. Keep work area clean and organized. Contractor-generated refuse must be removed from the park. Watch for wildlife and abide by park policy. BRCA will have a designated representative for inspection and acceptance.
