Quick Summary
The General Services Administration (GSA), through its Center for Charge Card Management (CCCM), has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Next Generation of the GSA SmartPay® Master Contract. This RFI is for market research purposes to gather industry capabilities and feedback on providing commercial charge card and payment services for the government-wide program, which currently manages approximately $40 billion annually across 250 federal agencies. Responses are due by June 19, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
The GSA SmartPay program provides commercial charge card and payment services to federal government agencies, eligible organizations, and Native American Tribal organizations. The current GSA SmartPay 3 master contract, if all options are exercised, ends November 29, 2031. This RFI seeks information from interested parties regarding their capabilities and specific feedback on the current GSA SmartPay 3 contract to inform the development of the next master contract. The government intends to leverage commercial solutions and practices more extensively in the future.
