Scope of Work
The anticipated scope requires contractors to furnish trained, qualified personnel, tools, and equipment to provide monthly pest control services. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan for approval by Facility Managers, addressing insect and rodent issues.
- Implementing targeted, safe, effective, and environmentally sound pest management methods, including habitat modification, biological/cultural control, mechanical/physical control, and judicious use of least hazardous pesticides.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable EPA, OSHA, state, and local regulations for pesticide storage, disposal, and application.
- Maintaining a quality control program, customer service call/emergency response system, and continuous pest prevention education.
- All contract employees applying pesticides must hold a state pesticide application certificate/license.
