Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) is seeking information on capabilities for SAP Information Technology (IT) equipment destruction services. The government intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a single award contract with a period of performance of less than 1 year.

Respondents are asked to address four topics:

• Topic 1: Complete a questionnaire (Attachment 01).

• Topic 2: Describe capabilities for meeting the major tasks outlined in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) (Attachment 02), addressing each portion of the SOW.

• Topic 3: Describe past performance on similar efforts, including customer, period of performance, and dollar value. If no similar past performance exists, state "N/A".

• Topic 4: Provide comments on any perceived ambiguities in the SOW.

• The government intends to release an RFQ for a single award contract.

• The contract period of performance is expected to be less than 1 year with no option years.

• Page Limit: Responses are limited to 7 pages, single-sided, 8.5" x 11", with 1-inch margins. Font size 12, Times New Roman, single-spaced. Graphics and tables are permitted within the text body and must also adhere to font size 12, Times New Roman.

• Topic 1 (Questionnaire): Does not count against the 7-page limit.

• Submission Deadline: 5:00 PM on July 10, 2026.

• Clarification Requests: Must be received no later than 5 business days prior to the RFI close date.

• Content: Submit only the completed questionnaire and the 7-page maximum response. Do not submit other documents like letters or marketing information.

• Evaluation: This RFI is for planning purposes. Responses are voluntary and will not be returned. The government may not discuss submissions with individual responders and will not notify respondents of review results.

• Foreign contractor participation is not permitted.

• All personnel must be U.S. Citizens.

• Responding to this RFI is not required for eligibility to propose on the future RFQ.

Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the required tasks for the Contractor's SAP hardware disposition effort for the F-35 Lightning II Combat Data Systems (CDS).

• The Contractor is responsible for the disposition of SAP equipment cataloged on the Master Inventory List.

• The estimated volume is approximately 8 pallets (40"x48" square, max 48" height).
