Initial Notice:
This announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) only.
Secured attachment(s) require a DD2345 and only permission may be granted by the noted contracting officers in the attachment.
The Combat Survivor Evader Locater (CSEL) Joint Program Office (JPO) is conducting a market assessment to identify potential sources and companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to respond to the requirements listed in the attached document. The CSEL JPO is issuing this RFI to explore agile/modular/open source solutions that meet the requirements and needs of potential isolated personnel.
The CSEL Joint Program Office (JPO) previous Request for Information (RFI) targeted a Next Generation Survival Radio (NGSR). This CSEL JPO has since updated the program name and effort to a Survivor Handheld Evader Locating Device (SHiELD). In line with previous RFIs, SHiELD will replace the current CSEL Hand Held Radio (HHR).
The NAICS code and PSC have not been determined as final at this date.
Please provide RFI responses via email by 5:00pm MST on 30 September 2020.
This effort is a follow on of the CSEL NGSR issued through FBO in 2018 (FA821718NGSR).
