Quick Summary

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), under the Department of the Air Force, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather market intelligence on capabilities supporting advanced technology development for large aircraft threat sensing and cueing. This science and technology effort aims to accelerate emerging technologies to a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6 before transitioning to acquisition organizations. Responses are due by April 24, 2026.

Scope of Interest

AFRL is seeking information on capabilities for concept and technology demonstrations of components and subsystems or system models. The objective is to prove technological feasibility, assess subsystem and component operability and producibility, and demonstrate the general military utility of technology for various military equipment or techniques. The ultimate goal is to transition these technologies to acquiring organizations.
