Purpose & Scope

This RFI, issued by the Department of the Air Force, is for planning purposes only and is not a request for proposals. AFRL seeks information on advanced technology development for large aircraft threat sensing and cueing. The effort aims to accelerate emerging technology development and transition to acquisition organizations, including concept and technology demonstrations to prove feasibility and assess operability/producibility of components and subsystems. The ultimate goal is to transition technologies to acquiring organizations after reaching TRL 6.

  • Classified Access: Respondents must have access to classified information up to and including Secret Collateral. A classified addendum is available upon request. The request period for the classified addendum is extended to 16 business days following RFI publication.
  • Response Content: Responses should not contain company proprietary information or marketing material. Appropriate distribution statements (B, C, D, etc.), CUI, ITAR-restricted, and/or classified markings must be indicated.
  • Page Limit: Responses are limited to 10 pages per technical thrust area, with a maximum of 30 pages if responding to all three areas.
