Quick Summary

The Department of the Navy / NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Aviation Supply Demand Forecasting. This RFI is for market research purposes to identify commercial solutions and methodologies that can modernize predictive modeling for component failures, repairs, and replacements across Naval aviation platforms. This is a voluntary opportunity for interested firms to demonstrate their products and capabilities. Responses are due April 9, 2026.

Purpose & Scope

NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia aims to improve the confidence level between predicted and observed demand values and enhance analytics for Aviation Depot Level Repairables (DLRs) and consumable items. The RFI seeks information on:

  • Data Integration: Ability to interface with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and incorporate variables such as flying hours, aircraft type/model/series, and historical demand. Solutions should run on specified standalone laptop configurations (32GB RAM, Intel Core 7, 2TB NVMe SSD, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS).
  • Training and Support: Capability to provide one-site in-person training to the NAVSUP WSS workforce on forecasting methodology, and virtual technical assistance for up to one year.

  • Content: Include a Company Profile (UEI number, CAGE code, and small business status) and a Capability Statement addressing the scope.
  • Markings: Clearly mark any proprietary information with appropriate data rights and distribution markings.
  • Submission: Submit responses via SAM.gov or to the designated Point of Contact, Mary Kate Saulino (marykatherine.saulino.civ@us.navy.mil).
