Scope of Work
This RFI focuses on identifying sources that possess the necessary repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience. The panels are currently repaired by Ducommun Labarge Technologies, the original manufacturer and known sole source, under contract FA8538-22-D-0004. The government does not own the technical data required for repair, and it is deemed uneconomical to acquire or reverse engineer. No samples are available for evaluation. Contractors will be responsible for furnishing all materials, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services, including providing, maintaining, and calibrating all required equipment. Replacement parts must meet or exceed original quality. Services shall include obsolete parts resolution and engineering for deficiency reports and material improvement projects. Items must comply with T.O. 5A13-5-29-3 and 5A13-5-30-3, with a sustainment life cycle through 2050.
