Market Research Survey

This document is a market research survey conducted by the Government to gather information for a potential Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order contract. The contract would supply fresh Bread and Bakery products to Department of War ("DoW" Troop) military customers in Alabama.

• Period of Performance: 36 Months
• Maximum Value: $346,500.00

The survey asks interested vendors to provide feedback on:

• Interest in offering a Fresh Bread and Bakery contract, specifically for Ft. Rucker.

• Ability to service customers in Alabama.

• Minimum dollar delivery requirements.

• Current manufacturing capabilities for fresh Bread and Bakery products.

• Past experience with the Federal Government.

• Registration status in SAM.gov and DIBBS.

• Business size (Small or Large).

• Feedback on the proposed "zone" layout and feasibility for supporting troops in Alabama.

• Potential need for subcontracting and areas involved.

• Any additional company capabilities.

• Percentage of products to be subcontracted to Small Business.

• Proposed vendors must have internet access and comply with inspection/audit findings.

• If the Place of Performance is not under the offeror's direct control, documentation of an agreement for production and distribution must be submitted.

• The awardee will be required to interface with the Subsistence Total Order & Receipt Electronic System (STORES) and support specific EDI transactions (810, 820, 832, 850, 861, 997).

• Unit prices must be formatted to two decimal places.

• Vendors must utilize Government item descriptions on electronic ordering catalogs and invoices.

• Alternate ordering methods may be required if STORES is not operational.
