Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy's NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for Full Rate Production and Sustainment of the MIBS program. This RFI seeks to understand industry's technical solutions, including existing capabilities, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) or Non-Developmental Item (NDI) solutions, services, experience, and recommendations. The MIBS program provides resilient Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) data feed to Warfighters via the Joint Tactical Terminal - Maritime Evolved (JTT-ME) system. Responses are due by March 31, 2026.
Scope of Interest
The MIBS program's JTT-ME system delivers near-real-time lethal threat intelligence, enabling Warfighters to receive global, national, and theater threat and intelligence data. It supports future broadcast waveforms and cyber-secured IBS data feed. The JTT-ME system comprises a Universal Computer and Network Switch and two key components: the KSR-4A and MX-12605/USQ, which are fielded, operational NDIs supporting Navy platforms. The RFI details current operational parameters for these components and requests information on solutions that can support or enhance these capabilities.
