Quick Summary

The Department of the Army is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for commercially available capabilities to support the evolution of the Joint Targeting Integrated Command and Coordination Suite (JTIC2S). This RFI aims to identify solutions for replacing the aging Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) and enhancing joint fires targeting capabilities. Responses are due June 19, 2026.

Purpose & Scope

This RFI seeks information from industry partners regarding commercially mature solutions or commercial interest for the JTIC2S program. The U.S. Army is developing JTIC2S using an agile, DevOps-centric model to provide advanced joint fires targeting capabilities.

Key Requirements & Desired Capabilities

The Army is interested in solutions that offer:

  • Automation of planning, Joint/coalition coordination, and targeting processes.
  • Integration of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).
  • Enhanced data fusion from multi-domain Joint interfaces.
  • Improved user interface/user experience (UI/UX).
  • Transition to a cloud-native architecture.
  • Sharing of data across common data fabrics.
  • Context-aware, embedded training and cognitive assistance.

Information Sought

The Army is assessing various approaches and specifically seeks information on:

  • Agile development processes (Roadmap, PI planning, sprint reviews).
  • On-site support for incremental capability releases (DevOps).
  • Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools and artifact development.
  • Army cyber procedures and approvals, including STIGs and eMASS.
  • Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) non-binding cost estimates.

Submission & Evaluation

  • Responses are due: June 19, 2026, by 1300 EST.
  • Format: Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF, 12-point font, single-spaced, not exceeding 10 pages (excluding cover page).
  • Content: Focus on preferred approach, vision, and processes. Include contact information and minimize proprietary data.
  • The government may provide JTIC2S source code upon request, requiring a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
  • This is an RFI only; it is not a solicitation or commitment to procure. Responses are voluntary and will not be reimbursed.

Eligibility & Set-Aside

This RFI is open to all interested industry partners, including small businesses.
