Scope of Work
This solicitation requires the cleaning, sanitizing, and sealing of two interconnected concrete raw water tanks and one concrete potable water storage tank, all located below ground. Key tasks include:
- Manual removal of debris and sediment.
- Cleaning interior surfaces with approved agents to eliminate microbial growth and contaminants.
- Application of disinfectants and flushing to remove residuals.
Deliverables include a comprehensive cleaning report detailing procedures, observations, test results, encountered issues, recommendations, and before/after photographs. Performance will be subject to daily routine inspections by the U.S. Government. The project team must include a NACE Level 3 coating inspector, a certified confined space attendant, and a general laborer. The contractor must prepare a Project Safety Plan (PSP) addressing confined space safety (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146, including onsite rescue) and develop a project approach in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C652/11 Standard for Disinfection of Water Storage Facilities.
